Andy Sherman
Andy Sherman is the Founder and CEO of Apex Growth Advisors, a firm dedicated to helping companies achieve breakthrough growth and profitability. As an advisor to small and mid-sized organizations, he collaborates with them to develop and execute strategies for the overall organization using the Catapult™ system, as well as on specific go-to-market initiatives.
Andy has a history of leadership and success spanning three decades, beginning in sales roles at large organizations such as IBM and Apple. He has also led teams at start-ups and turnarounds, progressing through roles including CRO, COO, CMO, and CEO. Notably, he built one startup’s sales team from scratch to an organization of over 100 people, growing from $0 to $100 million and achieving an IPO, all within four years. Additionally, he led three successful turnarounds for struggling organizations, resulting in profitable exits.
Outside of work, Andy stays busy with an expanding family (five grandchildren, with a sixth on the way) and the ongoing projects that come with living in a 221-year-old house. His recreational pursuits include mountain biking, skiing, and sailing. He is also a founding Board Member of the Friends of Harold Parker State Forest and leads projects that support both recreation and conservation in partnership with the New England Mountain Bikers Association.
